Community Spotlight: Theria-Thon 2025
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 31, 2025! The Dungeons and Randomness podcast is hosting their 13th annual Theria-Thon - a 12-hour Dungeons & Dragons marathon set in their unique Theria world from Noon to Midnight EST.
GM Assistant: Our Focus Moving Forward
I'm running GM Assistant as a solo founder without outside investment. This means we need to stay focused on our main goal: making it super easy to get great session notes.
For the past 9 months, I've been exploring and testing many different, large features. While this has been extremely valuable, I'm now narrowing our focus to our core mission until we grow our team. I've reprioritized our roadmap to reflect this more focused approach.
We've received many requests for advanced note formatting and campaign management features. Instead of trying to build everything myself, I'll focus on making it easier to export your notes to your favorite, existing note-taking tools.
The Campaign Companion Chatbot feature would be more valuable once we have better note storage and organization. For now, we'll keep focus on making the best possible session notes tool.

We've finally rolled out the long requested subscription options. This is a great way to get a little extra discount on some credits each month.
Standard Plan – $9/month

Need more? You can always buy bulk credits on top of your subscription if needed.
Transcript Access
We've added a transcript tab on sessions. Now you can see and download the raw words spoken by your party. This tab should evolve quite a bit over the next few months to have more transcript formats and other shiny improvements.
Audio is now auto-deleted
Now once GMA is done with your audio, we delete it so no need to do this yourself.
In the future we may add features that need to call back to audio, in which it will be back to manual delete.
